Pricing Issue & Poor Customer Service + Attitude

On 21st Feb, I purchased a 5kg sunlight auto washing powder from checkers store located in the pineslopes center. This item was on special and was going for R79.99, original price being R129.99. At the store I asked the sales attendant which auto washing powder is on special, the guy showed me sunglight 5kg bag auto; and to prove it he took the 5kg bag and scanned under the small scanning machine to check the price- it showed R79.99. Since it was on special I purchased it; only to find out later at home they had charged me the original price R129.99 --- so basically overcharging me R50.<br> Today I went to the store personally and explained the above; the sales manager (Kay) then didn't want to listen and instead tried to prove me wrong giving me stories. All I know is that when I'm given a price and that too checked on the scanning machine, I should be paying that price. If there is a mistake then checkers must honor that price, not show me down and make it seem as if I'm lying. Poor customer service from *********** unfriendly staff. I'm totally shocked with the service I was given today!
