Checkers are advertising "specials" when you swipe their card. Example - 2 x Rainbow chicken viennas for R75 (Normal price 49.99 each) At checkout, after card swipe, the receipt shows R49.99. No discount. I have mailed them but expect a "oh, so sorry, must have been a computer glitch" response. There is no such thing as a glitch. It's intentional because probably only 1 in 20 will actually check and query. Their app is a waste of time as well. Advertising Stork 500g tub on "special" when you swipe, for R49.99. WHO PAYS THAT FOR 500g anyway?? On the shelf, it was marked at 42.99 Go figure. Mentioned it to store manager. Got the ubiquitous "shrug", the computer must have made a mistake. Come on, greedy corporate. Get real. All the retailers are *******s. But I'd rather be "semi-**********" by the others than by this retailer. No more business from me.
