Pretoria north Checkers theft

On the 24th of July 24. I had visited the store Pretoria North, to buy toiletries and things I'd need for the house! Blessing Komane assisted me @18:32:11 and a packer rushed to pack my goods in the plastic bag as she was packing she kept distracting me by speaking to the cashier making me less focused at my goodies being packed accordingly. I, then left the store not thoroughly checking if all the products paid for were in the plastic bags rushing home to cook as it was in the evening and it was getting darker. After an hour, I checked items bought and one item went missing. Now my thing is... 1. I wasn't the one packing my products hence I don't believe that it was misplaced after it shows on the receipt that it was paid for. 2. Why is everything that's on the receipt accounted for except something that small (Nivea Roll on) which could be easily ******. I mean, yes I can afford another roll on but its the principal that a big store like that cannot allow staff to ***** from their client's. I'm writing this review because I'm annoyed as to why I wasn't allowed to watch the CCTV footage to prove that my store of my product of being ****** is fault. The staff in question also went available to be questioned. I advice whoever reading this review to thoroughly check your bought items before leaving the store especially when you didn't pack the bought items yourselves Thank you
