Pregnant woman humiliated by Manager.

<p>I went to buy some stuff at Checkers Christiaan de Wet ast night 20/02/2017. I waited on the express till while another client was waiting for money that they had withdrawn, the cashier told me she was going to be long because she did not have the money, she was already rude to the clients who were withdrawing telling them that there is nothing she can do if she doesn not have that money and she kept on arguing with the client in Sotho. I asked the next cashier if i can go pay by her because there were no clients by her and she just ignored me. so I waited until the express cashier managed to raise the money for the client that had withdrawn, just wneh that customer left and i was supposed to be served then the Supervisor (Male) came over and they started complaining and talking bad about the customer that had just left saying things like Pick n Pay is better because they know how to tell clients off when they want to withdraw money its such a pity they work for Checkers, they were saying all that infront of me and in our language instead of helping me. I asked them that so thats what they do to their clients that they offer them bad service and when they walk out they talk abd them infront of other clients.</p> <p> </p> <p>The supervisor told me to mind my own business and that clients are problematic and he also told me that I have issues of my own. the supervisor and I exchanged words on the flloor where other clients were looking, then the manager c ame along and found us arguing still, the supervisor walked away but still talking and pointing fingers at me. the manager did not even bother to asked what had happened, He just told me to keep it down because i was upsetting his other clients.</p> <p> </p> <p>I tried to explain what happened but he kept on cutting me telling me he will get me kicked out of the shop because i was scaring his csustomer. As i was trying to pay for my transaction he called the security to come drag me out of the shop before I could finish my transaction, He did this isnfront of all his stuff and customers, mind you I am heavily pregnant and he had his secutity guard try to manhandle me. i told the security guard to dare touch me and the manager kept on telling him to kick me out.</p> <p> </p> <p>I finished paying and walked out and the staff and the security were talking as i walked out saying things such as 'Hamba' do'nt ever come back and etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel so humiliated beyond words by this humiliation by Checkers, Ii will never go back to that shop again and the media needs to know about this as well that this is how customers even pregnant ladies are treated at Checkers.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
