poor service

I have never been so disappointed by such a big shop (Checkers Raslouw). I sent myself a cash send for my helper's salary and went to checkers as my everyday shop to withdraw. The cashier helped me and I punched in my pin, the manager R. ( I wish I can mention his name ) came to authorize and entered his password incorrectly. When trying to correct it, he cancelled the transaction. They told me to wait 10 min they will try again, after 10 min the voucher showed as redeemed. We tried money market side no luck, they said i should wait for the cashier to cash out to see if she will be over and I waited an hour, it was 8:30 pm when I left without my money. They told me it will be reversed back to my account. Friday came nothing, Saturday came I called and R was off. Sunday I went to the shop to speak to R's manager and he apologized took my no. R should have to contacted me to follow up, he took it and promised to call me on Monday.

As I type this I had Standard bank and checkers on a conference call to resolve this, I have not yet receive my money and hopefully the proof STD bank sent to them will be sufficient for them to give me my money. This has inconvenienced me so much as I had to make a plan for my helper's salary, all the up and down salary calling I had to do.
