POOR SERVICE

<p>On 29/9/2016 I presented payment for groceries at Checkers Cascades Pietermaritzburg. One of the notes was R200.00 which had a tear half way down the canter of the note. After some delay, the Manager, a Mr Somaru approached me advising they could not accept the half torn note as the bank will not accept it. Other than the tear, the note was original bearing all the required security water marks. I advised him that he is clearly lacking in acknowledge, as my experience has been that banks do accept such notes, and will even accept them where they have been torn in half and secured with sellotape. I left this store and went to Woolworths Liberty Mall where I made a purchase with the same note, without problems. I certainly will NOT be frequenting Checkers, and our monthly grocery budget will now be spent elsewhere.</p>
