poor quality kitchenware

I recently purchased dinner plates from Checkers, Mall of Africa. After a few uses these plates looked terrible. You cannot put these plates in the dishwasher or use any utensils on them as it scratches. I took the plate to Checkers and was informed to send an email to head office. I sent an email to head office about 3 weeks ago and followed up and to date they have not acknowledged my email. Totally disappointed with checkers and the poor quality kitchenware they keep on their shelves.
