Poor New Checkers at Watercrest

You have just relocated your Checkers shop in the Watercrest mall, replacing the old space with Shoprite. I had shopped at this old Checkers for years, and I was happy. The new one is badly designed.

First of all, it has no Freshly Grilled Chicken display stand with the chickens in boxes, so the few chickens you do have, lie out in the open with no boxes and dry out.

The basket where you sell your coney bread rolls is tiny compared to the old shop, and usually sold out. I'm told to buy the ones wrapped in the packet, which are stale. Your samoosas are terrible and the cakes are usually old. This was not like this at the old store.

One of the main problems with these branches in the Upper Highway Area is the lack of small trollies. People stand around at the entrance and wait until another customer abandons theirs. There is always an overabundance of big trollies.

This new idea of putting the entrance to your checkout aisle in the middle of the passage is nuts! Whose idea was that, and can you give me ONE good reason. People face each other from different directions at the entrance and argue about who was there first. You now have a security guard standing there directing customers and breaking up fights.

The area around the deli is pushed into a corner of the shop with the fresh produce and there is aways a crowd - with only one assistant helping, while the other side of the shop has big aisles and nobody there.

I really hope that to can consider these points I've raised, and while you are at it, bring back all the special offers that were available before Christmas.
