POOR DISGUSTFULL SERVICE.
I am from Eastlondon and so happened to be in Butterworth. I needed to buy a steam iron. I stood in a queues for over 20minutes, the lines were sown the ailse even the kiosk queues there must of been plus minus 4 to 5 cashiers open. As i got to the teller they changed cashiers with not even an apology or anything they just went about thier bussiness, the cashier rings up my Steam Iron and Coke it comes up to R162.98 can you believe it the cashier had no cahnge for R200. I got so annoyed i walked out and went to look for the store manager. Apprently the person who is supposed to be the manager had no name badge so i am not even sure if it was the manager who helped me. She runs to another till gets my change hands it to me with no apology. As i am talking to her she walks away. Is this how Shoprite treats shoppers in small towns and if its so then its disgusting. Cashier didnt even greet and the manager didnt even greet or try to calm me down its like she just wanted to get rid of me. Queues, No Name Badges and Stinking Attitudes from Manangement right down to the Cashiers. This store according to my till slip is at the Corner Umtata and Merriman Street in Butterworth.
