Poor customer service - Parklands hyper

Checkers hyper Sandown road, Parklands, Western Cape had jc le roux cans on the shelves. This was surprising under the ban but nonetheless I took a 6 pack. When we got to the counter it didn't scan and one of the managers Mrs Minimee or something took it to her office. No communication to the customer whatsoever. 15min later I approach her office to get an understanding why she took the item away. Her response was that obviously alcohol is banned I must go away. Just like that. I'm so upset as I feel the store should have handled this better. It's a no Brainer that there's a ban but also they put the alcohol on the shelves for sale. They need to continue teaching their leadership customer service and I felt race profiled as I have never seen management respond that way.
