Platters ordered online not prepared

On the 12/12/2020 at 13:46 I placed an online order for 15 platters to collect by 9am the next day at checkers Silverlakes. I got an email confirming that the order was received and I’d be kept updated on the ongoings of my order. I didn’t received any communication. On the 13/12/2020 when I got there my order had not been prepared and it’s only then that they started running up and down trying to prepare my order. They claimed they don’t have all the ingredients and there was no electricity but I was not told so that I can make other arrangements. The time I sat there waiting for them to make the platters I might have as well cooked myself. I used their service because I was in the programme for the event and thus could not cool myself. I missed the event because I had to wait for platters. I’m so disappointed!
