Platinum product poor quality

Bought a Platinum 4 slice sandwich press at Checkers Allen's Nek on 19 October 2022. Took it back on 14 July 2023 due to it not warming up anymore. They exchanged it. It stopped working again yesterday 8 October 2023. Went back today to get a refund to buy another make at another store, they refuse as the slip was not dated 14 July 2023 although they wrote exchange with the date on slip. Platinum make does not last, not even worth buyibg. It is a terrible make and unfortunately Checkers only sell Platinum.
