Pickled what????

I prefer to write positive reviews of businesses, but today I have to report a negative incident at Checkers Bay West mall.

I stopped in to buy pickled fish yesterday and was looking forward to enjoying it on Good Friday. To my disgust and horror, I opened the tub to see pickled chicken drum sticks and thighs. When calling them, "Bianca" told us that it was their "Secret Recipe"... this despite making clear that the label clearly stated pickled fish. What nonsense. To their credit, they refunded what I spent, but they cannot refund the disappointment, the time spent rectifying THEIR mess, or the fuel spent taking the product back.

Checkers has broken trust with me. I don't think I can ever buy anything from their baywest store again.
