Pathology report request from Checkers for proof of food poisoning
A few days ago, I purchased a rotisserie chicken on the Sixty60 app. I've had several issues with orders, often poor packaging, breakage, overripe or rock hard fruit, and stale bread. To their credit, Sixty60 has credited my account when I reported issues.
The reason for my one star review is that customer service called me today to say that, in order to prove that the rotting chicken caused us food poisoning, we have to: 1. Visit a doctor (2 people) 2. Get 2 pathologist reports. 3. Get a doctor's note.
Well, Checkers, I don't have R1000 for a doctor's visit and whatever the pathologists will bill me.
Why don't you send your Quality Assurers to the stores to check that you don't give customers salmonella poisoning, remove stale products and train the shoppers not to pack 2 kilos of sugar on top of a tray of eggs?
P. S. Congratulations to the CEO on his astronomical salary and bonus.
