Oxtail gone off

I went to Checkers at Selcourt Towers, Springs and bought oxtail. It was within the expiry date. When I started to cook the oxtail, it had a sour off smell to it. This is not the first time I had a bad experience purchasing meat from Checkers. Going forward, I am very sceptical purchasing any meat from Checkers, Selcourt Towers.
