Off pork texan

I have been to checker hyper gateway on the 28/06/2019 I purchased on that day for around 700 rands.i bought pork Texan which I had a braai last night an was currently off an had a bad smell.i had visitors which had come over which was so embarassing.This is not the first time I had this issue in regards to food item being off.
