Now THAT'S what I call customer service

<p>The short version: I bought and assembled a bench from Checkers Hyper in Edenvale. It wasn't great. I messaged Checkers on Twitter to say the bench was pretty shoddy but I'd assembled it already and wasn't going to take it apart to return it. Next thing I know I'm practically being stalked by 3 different team members, all too eager to assist. Saturday someone from Checkers drove to my HOUSE with a brand new assembled bench, and a fruit hamper (likely more expensive than the bench itself) to apologise. They also took the old one away. Say WHAT?! Can we not get Checkers to take over customer service, for the WORLD?! WELL DONE GUYS!!</p>
