Not every black customer in your store is a ***** by default.

<p>I shop at Cherckers sandton city 7 times on average per month because it’s near me and it’s convenient. On the 19th of August 2016 I was doing my groceries like I normally do but on that I was in a rush to beat after hours traffic since it was Friday. I was looking for a specific feeding bottle for my 2months baby girl, I was looking for a pink tommee tippee single bottle. When I got to the shelves they didn’t have a single bottle but they had 2 in the package which costed R179.99 and they had a grey one which was a single bottle and costed R119.99. I wanted one pink bottle, seeing that they have a grey bottle which is the same brand and same intake volume as the pink one I thought they ran out of stock for the single pink bottle, so I switched I took one pink bottle and put it in the grey bottle package (remember this is the same brand and same volume intake) and paid R119.99 with the rest of the groceries. To my surprise I was stopped at the door and I was taken to the security office and there was a loss manager there who didn’t want to even give me a chance to explain myself. What was annoying mostly is that there was a white guy who was caught on camera steeling cheese and he was given a chance to speak to the store manager who was in charge that day and on other hand I was denied such privilege because am black and by default am a *****. They wrote their statement and I was taken to police station holding cells. I had to pay R5000 for a lawyer and I slept in the holding cells with *********. To another surprise when I got to ranburg magistrate court on Monday I was told that the case was dismissed and should go home.</p> <p> </p> <p>To all the security personnel and staff at checkers Sandton City, please I repeat please stop treating every black person as a ***** under such circumstance, at least give that person a chance to explain and give them same treatment you give to white folks please. I was arrested for something paid for and when went back to checkers and told a different manager about this he was shocked that I was even arrest for such!!!!! Please stop it.</p>
