Not eager to assist!

So yesterday I went to Checkers hyper at Kollonade mall to get some few items for the house. The lines were a bit long and people had filled their trolleys, but the express tills were empty and there were four cashiers .Since I did not have a lot of items I decided to go there as they were just sitting. When I got there I explained to the lady that I know it less than 10 Items in this tills but the ques are long and I only have few items. The attitude she gave me and telling me no i must join those queues and when I told her "but there is no one here and the other ques you can see are long, so would you rather sit and do nothing than to assist your colleagues and service customers " her answer was a big yes! she even called one of the supervisor who said to her it was fine just to help the customer I will pack, because her argument was who will pack for me? I am so disgusted by this cashier's behavior especially because she could also see that I am pregnant. She is not a team player, I don't even think she knows what customer service or serving. I want to attached my receipt so you can see how small my items were and how they were just idling when I went there. Violet Mphahlele needs serious customer service training and a lot of work with her attitude. even the supervisor did not want to say a lot to her you can see it norm. She feels so entitled and thinks she is doing us a favor by sitting there!
