Non existent service

Bought about R900 worth of goods from Checkers on Barry Hertzog Rd. Got home to find the chicken stinking with rottenness, the gem squashes covered in mould and found a R79 tin of biscuits completely shattered in crumbs. On returning to the store I confronted the *********** manageress who not only swore at me but refused me a refund. Her entire chicken fridge on closer inspection was heaving with rotten chicken. I threw the chicken on the floor in sheer exasperation at her incompetence, lack of manners, zero experience and utter rudeness. I tried calling the customer care line but they claim although Checkers will take your money on a Sunday if there’s a problem there’s no mechanism to fix it. I asked to speak to more senior manager but the stupid call centre man had no clue how to raise a more senior person as his script doesn’t tell him. Honestly this shop needs to close down before some innocent customer dies from food poisoning and the manageress needs to be fired. Checkers need to employ more intelligent people and train them but I’d suggest start by teaching manners as this everyday s**** is seriously lacking. Close your customer care line down as you’re just wasting money there to.
