No, you don't understand....

I need someone at Checkers to explain something.... This week they have tins of chicken mayonnaise on special at TWO for R20 These tins usually retail at R23.99 each But.... When you buy this wonderful special, you don't get it at TWO for R20 No, they only give you a discount of 25% The more I try to explain this special to their staff, the more they tell me I don't understand how the special works. The first manager I encountered told me I'm in the wrong store (apparently they only sell this at Checkers Hyper) I had to point out that he doesn't know what's going on in his own store.... The second manager has no clue what the word 'assorted' means, she tried to convince me that only certain tins were on special. So now, I invite the higher-ups (and hopefully someone with a brain) to explain the special to me. How can you advertise a product at a certain price, but sell it at a different (higher) price? My next 2 emails will be to the The Competition Commission of South Africa as well as the Consumer Goods Council of South Africa. I've had enough of bad service and totally *********** management.
