No refund from Checkers Gardens for bank charge

Checkers Gardens management and HQ never phoned back to assist with loss of Nedbank charge resulting from total negligence of scanning bread and baked beans. Should have been R28.98. R16.99 was charged extra meaning most likely the bread was scanned twice. Bank fees can't be recovered meaning if you have one or two items to be diligent with the approximate amount it should be before swiping your card. I have a habit of keeping zero balance in my current account as it gives me no interest. I lost my debit card and ********s tried to swipe my card 4 times before I could block it. I was able to recover the ***** charges but no luck with Checkers.
