No Photos in Checkers Liquor?

I am not at all complaining about Checkers Hyper as a whole. This was just an annoying encounter at Checkers Liquor in Wellington road, Durbanville. I was taking photos of relatively expensive whiskies they stock on my phone to WhatsApp my partner so she can choose which one she would like, when an employee stopped me to tell me I'm not allowed to do that. If that is the case I would like to know why, as this can only be beneficial to sales and is inherently publicly available information. In this case the whole encounter left a bitter taste in my mouth and I simply went to Tops across the road. I'm still curios about your policy on this.
