No cellphone tap-and-pay at Checkers!

I was very disappointed and irritated with the poor customer service I recently experienced. After doing my shopping and attempting to pay I was informed that tap-and-pay via cell phone was not allowed. They said it was a decision on the regional KZN level. So I had to leave all my shopping at the till. They wasted my time (which is money) and energy. I then went to Pick n Pay, did the same shopping and paid using my cell phone tap-and-pay. Their customer service is so much better than Checkers! FNB, Standard Bank and Nedbank all have cell phone tap-and-pay available for their customers. Why is Checkers management stuck in the dark ages? They need to wake up to modern technologies!
