I just had a shocking experience at Checkers Empangeni. The air-conditioning system is not working in this heat. Empangeni experiences 30 degrees temperatures before 10 am in Summer so imagine how hot it gets midday. The shop feels like a mini hell and this poses a threat of food poisoning to the goods sold at the deli and the cold meats section. The staff is also sweating due to the heat
