No after sales service

So, if your are thinking of buying an appliance, DON'T buy the checkers brand - called Platinum - my microwave was short circuited during a loadshedding, and they told me they don't fix appliances Any more! Whaaaat? So a year and a half to use the microwave, and absolutely NO AFTER SALES SERVICE !!!
