No advertised stock

<p>I went to CheckersHyper Sanlam Centre Parow on 28 July 2017 to buy two products as advertised (Valid 24 July-13 August 2017). The items were a Platinum 1.8 l kettle (R199.99) and Energizer AA battery 6 pack (R54.99). None of these products were available and I was told by the manager that they did not receive them at all. He instructed a person at the customer care (?) centre to give me an "Out of stock product voucher" for these items. I was told that they don't phone people when (if?) the stock arrives. I will then need to go to this supermarket every day to see if the products arrived.</p> <p>I think it is a Standard Operating Procedure to just advertise products at a special price that won't be there from the start, just to get people into a shop.</p>
