Misleading price on a toy.

On Wednesday, the 21st of December 2022 I took my 7 years Old daughter to Checkers hype at Fleudal mall in Bloemfontein as she wanted to by herself some toys after a year of saving. I allowed my daughter to do her shopping freely while I was also doing my own shopping in preparation for Christmas. When we got at the till, one of the toys that clearly had a big price tag of R69, 99 was now R499. 00. We asked about the price descripency, the teller called the branch manager Lukas. Lukas came and just read the price on the toy and said it's for something else and not what my daughter had in her hands, and further said No! and left.. rudely so, I have to say. My daughter is only 7 years old, she doesn't work at the store and should not be responsible for the pasting of correct prices on items places at the reduced prices items. She had a toy that clearly had a price on it which was secured on it, she chose the toy as it was within her budget and savings she had. Basically she was deceived as the customer as the price on the toy she had was totally different from the price at the till. My daughter should only be required to pay what is clearly written on the price tag of the toy, nothing more, nothing less! All I am requesting is fairness for my daughter as a customer, she must get that toy at the price that was clearly written on the toy. Please help!
