Melrose Biltong spread gone bad

I'm truly disappointed by the product I bought at the Checkers hyper Musgrave shopping centre in Durban. The Melrose Biltong spread has an expiry date that ends next year in 2025, but when my children opened it for school they were surprised to find out that it had already gone bad. But I have to use my transport to travel back to Checkers to return a spread that had gone bad but the expiry date ends next year.
