Meat from Checkers Butchery Baywest

A month ago I bought ostrich steaks at Checkers Baywest. I used it before the expiry date and to my dismay and disgust, both packets contained rotten meat. I spoke to an assistant who informed me that there were many complaints about rotten meat and opened a chicken pack from the shelf which was also rotten. He also stated that the fridges were faulty. I shop at Checkers regularly but will not buy their meat in future. The smell of rotten meat is hard to forget!
