Meals were off on sell by date

I used the Checkers Sixty app from Checkers Westgate Mall, Weltevrede Valley Mitchells Plain, to order groceries on Sunday, 11th June 2023. Included in my order were the Oh My Goodness Mac & Cheese and the Oh My Goodness Spaghetti bolognese. When I opened the mac & cheese for my daughter on the same day, it smelled awful. The sell-by date was 11 June, but the food was clearly off. I could not feed my 6 year old daughter this food. I intended to return both the spaghetti and mac & cheese to the store the following day, as the bolognese had the same sell-by date. I however work late hours and do not have the time to return it to the store, hence I make use o the Sixty app. I decided to discard both meals. I request Checkers to reimburse me as the meals were off and I paid for something I could not use. each meal was priced at R44.99.
