marked down items

<p>So there was a tray of chicken fillets that was on marked down together with the rest of chicken fillets in the freezer section, once I reached the till I've been told that the chicken is not for sale to customers because it could cause food poisoning, and the manger informed me that the chicken is for sale to the employees of checkers only,my point is why was the chicken there in the first place.</p>
