Manager lack of interest and not integrity

We went to the Checkers Hyper at Shallcross to buy a bin for my mother. We identified a bin marked on the shelf for R399 with a number of them stacked on the same shelf. At the till, the lady scanned the bin at R599. We queried it, she called a supervisor to address this. Since she was from another section, we had to wait for supervisor of the section to assist. She arrived & looked at the barcode under the bin and the price tag from the shelf brought by the store assistant. She couldn't assist & called another supervisor who went through the same routine check and arrived 15mins later saying he had spoken to the branch manager who said they could not honor the price on the shelf. We paid for the other items leaving the bin behind. We went to the manager's office who wasn't there. On the intercom he was requested twice to attend to a customer. we waited at his office for 10mins & decided to leave as there was no sign of him. The whole ordeal took us 45 mins. We called the Checkers customer care line and reported the incident. They called us in 30mins with feedback from the store mgr that we wanted 2 bins for the price of R399. This mgr has no integrity or want to resolve the issue
