Manager Gys van Zyl Checkers

A manager at checkers West coast mall named Guys van Zyl. I went to purchase amongst other things an item on sale and there was nothing on the shelf. Paid for what I received then requested a rain check. This Guys van Zyl a non food manager name tag on his shirt came close to hear what I needed from the person who was about to write said rain check. No greeting to me at all. He proceeded to tell the lady about to write a rain check not to write it because there was stock and sent someone to look at the back. I waited for 15 whole minutes then I asked for the store manager and was told he/ she left. Another manager came to find out what was going on and as he was told to which he responded the item was not available and a rain check must be written instead. I asked Gys van Zyl if he just made me wait 15 minutes for nothing? He told me he did not know. Why in the name of all that’s good did he waste my time? He smirked and asked why I was irritated because he wasn’t aware? No apology for his mistake and wasting my time for nothing. The apology came from the other manager who also offered a different solution for my inconvenience. As this manager was assisting me Gys van Zyl came with sheets of papers and showed me some stock list and proceeded to have the audacity to tell me I should have more information before I complained. We argued as he clearly saw nothing wrong with making me stand for all that time for nothing. When I mentioned that he made me wait for nothing he had the audacity to tell me he did not make me wait. Regardless of the other manager telling him to stop he kept on arguing with the same smirk on his face. Did checkers West Coast train this Gys van Zyl to give their customers such appalling service. If a manager can behave in such a manner with who does a paying customer raise concerns with? I have never in my shopping life seen such. Is that what customers are to expect from checkers so that I can stay clear I mean there’s a pick ‘n pay just below.
