Mall of Africa Checkers Cafe

<p>Good day, on Saturday 15th July we went for breakfast at the Cafe in Checkers Mall of Africa. Normally we get great service and fantastic food, but on Saturday the staff was not friendly at all. We ordered the Deluxe breakfast (3 of them). We also ordered the “special for the week” (or whatever it is called) which was a 350ml Hot chocolate and peanut butter cookie.</p> <p>We sat down waiting for our order as this was not a take away. The lady from behind the counter and informed as that there are no scrambled eggs but only boiled eggs. We excepted the offer for the boiled eggs. She brought our food to us: Vienna’s look like they were standing outside for nearly a day so dried out they were, the boiled eggs were blue and rubbery that we didn’t even tried to eat it (we couldn’t cut it with a knife). She brought us a 250ml coffee…Not what we ordered. Then had to wait for them to correct the order. The food was disgusting.</p> <p>We were under the impression that the food is made FRESHLY when you order, yet to my surprise this is the food that they get instore and dish up for the customers.</p>
