Lotto machine is very often off-line

In the past 2 months or so, the Lotto Machine at the Rivonia store is more often off-line than not. There is very often not even a sign to indicate that the machine is off-line and it is only when you get to the front of the queue, that you learn that the Lotto Machine is off-line. On asking what the problem is, we are told that it's the Lotto Operator that is off-line. So then I go to Spar just up the road, and the Lotto Machine there is operational, so it's not true that the Lotto Operator is off-line. The problem obviously lies with the Lotto Machine and its lack of maintenance at Checkers Rivonia. The staff don't seem to be too concerned either, as there is sometimes a lack of Lotto stationery, only one staff member to service the Lotto queue as well as the money market queue, and on the occasion that there is an off-line sign, this sign is unprofessionally hand-written on a piece of paper and stuck any old how on the machine. Generally, this does not give a good impression of Checkers. This is now happening more and more often, so from now on I'll go straight to Spar to do my shopping and Lotto tickets, I won't waste my time at Checkers any longer.
