Lie to customer

I find it pointless and disappointing that pavilion house and home has items on display and when you ask if they have stock you get told yes but after 20 minutes of being shown object and deciding you want to buy you then get told it can be at the store for you to collect tomorrow??? When you say you work you get told you cannot collect you get told it can be delivered for a fee??? Is this a **** with kick back for delivery to salesman or just pathetic service??
