*****... *****

So yesterday, 09 April 2018, I went to Checkers Hyper in Secunda and bought spinach. The packaging says that it was washed and ready for consumption. I got home and put it in the fridge.

Today , late in the afternoon, I open the packaging and put the spinach in a pot and cook it.

Whilst it was boiling I opened the pot and realised that the spinach was actually not clean. Very dirty in fact.

Why do they write that it is washed when it is not washed? Moreover, I bought it from them and paid more than what I would have paid at pick n pay because I knew that one was already clean.

But now, I cannot even eat this mess. So I just wasted R28 plus petrol to go and buy at checkers. I even had to cook something else. All I can do is throw this spinach away.

Why say it is washed when it is not??
