leaking kettle

A few months ago I bought a Russel Hobs kettle from Checkers Menlyn. It being over R350 and an expensive brand, Russel Hobs product, I never in my wildest dreams thought it would leak, so I never kept the slip. Now I find that that expensive kettle is LEAKING - the one thing a kettle should not do is leak!!!! Since I have no slip I am told that there is nothing I can do to get either a replacement or a refund!<br> I must question the authenticity of this product and wonder if it could be a grey product. I expected more form both the manufacturer and supplier.
