Kudos to Checkers Food Services

In view of my previous (negative) review of Pick and Pay, it wouldn't be fair not to review Checkers, since the delivery situation didn't differ a lot. However, that's where the similarity ended.

From the moment I reported items missing from my delivery, until Checkers responded with an explanation, took about two hours, and ever since I got their first responce they constantly reported back with feedback and they delivered my missing items less than 24 hours later... that in view of the fact that the items were out of stock at the time of picking items for my delivery. Never once was anybody rude or impatient, from the truck drivers right through to the customers service staff. I received the best of treatment from Checkers and Shoprite staff, even though I must have sounded impatient with them at times. Now that's service! Way to go Checkers!

A special mention to a Ms Rinaaz Samaai of Checkers Food Services Cape Town, who went out of her way to report my case to the management of Checkers Food Services Gauteng when my call accidentally went through to Cape Town and Gauteng. Thank you so much Rinaaz, I appreciate your help and excellent service.

Another special mention to a Ms Tintswalo Ntuli of Checkers Food Services Gauteng, who sent me no less than four emails to make sure that I was kept in the loop about my order. Thank you so much, Tintswalo, I really do appreciate the considerate disposition displayed ever since the first time you've contacted me by phone.

Checkers, as well as both these girls, deserve ten stars instead of the five that I was able to give them.
