Keeping expired food on shelfs

I went to do my monthly groceries at Checkers, Cape Gate the 03rd of October.

When I got home to unpack, one of the yogurts that I bought with three different yogurts was expired and showed BB 26 Sep.

I know some people would say it is just yogurt, but food are so expensive these days and how often does it maybe happen to other people as well and it is a waste to drive all the way to take it back.

I bought a lot of goods and support this branch. Now i have to throw something away just because some people don't like to do their jobs.
