Just...Terrible.

Checkers - Centurion Mall. Monday, 08 Feb 2021 - 10:40-11:00 Why sell bacon, eggs or sausages when they are part f a "Mystery Meal" combination? Mystery you ask? Well there's no sign up explaining it. Nothing. There are 2 dozen fried eggs, A full tray of scrambled eggs, 2 loaves worth of toast and two dozen sausages, no onions, some dried-up tomatoes and no mushrooms, no beans. WHAT COMBO EXISTS?? Asking for 2 eggs, a double portion of bacon and 2 sausages is met with "No, this is part of a combo" "What combo? You have no onions, mushrooms or beans!" "Then you don't get it in the combo" "So you mean you will charge me for something I am not getting?" ...."Yes" Brilliant. Pack the "combo" into meals, or be done with it. Never in my life have i been told that fresh food in front of my eyes cannot be purchased because the right combinations of food items are "not in the combo"... But wait... the problem goes further, Getting cash-back at a till is now another monumental task: The till-person floats between tills to find TWO-HUNDRED-AND-FIFY-RAND! Then informs me I have to go "to till 10 to get cash-back". When I argue, she curtly informs me "Till 10 is for cash back, you will get it there"...Never mind the till has 2 trollies being unloaded at the time, so a 15 minute wait is now in order. Yes, crossing the mall to the FNB ATM was faster and I did so. Last insult for the day... "Plastic bags for E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G, ok?". None of the cooldrinks were in a bag....so I helped myself to 4 free bags courtesy of Checkers and did the packer's job for them. This was after I paid. Right in front of management, after returning from the FNB ATM. The manager saw and heard me about the cash-back, and saw me take the 4 plastic bags and pack the trolley myself, Sadly, solitaire on the computer was much more important.
