JUST ABSOLUTELY APPALLING

DO NOT use Checkers Sixty60 for the Northriding branch. I tried the app for the first time this past Saturday with lots of enthusiasm and existent BUT I got completely the opposite of what I expected. I placed my order at 11:35, which order should have been delivered by 12:35.. Well 12.35 come and gone, so I ended up contacting Checkers Northridiging and after 7 x attempts someone eventually answered the phone, with a response "I will get the manager to phone you back" after 20 minutes a staff member phoned me back and said that my order has been ready since 11:53 but has not gone out and he wont be able to tell me when I will be receiving delivery. I then asked if I should rather go and collect it, to witch i received a response of "YES, come and collect". So off I go @ 13.31 to collect my items only to be ignored by the managers upon my arrival and then got told my the senior manager that I cannot collect my items. After waiting for 45 minutes with no communication accept "we are trying to sort it out".. At this point I was past impatient and requested that my order be cancelled and advised the manager that if they dare deduct funds from my account for the cancelled order I will be extremely upset as once cannot pay for items not received, to which he agreed. I proceeded to purchase my items and only arrived home after 15:15. The worst is that Checkers still deducted the funds from account therefore taking double my money. I again contacted the branch on Sunday to be told that they cannot help me I would have to contact the call center, which I proceeded to do. Today is Wednesday after after all of this my funds are still not returned to my account. I am horrified by this experience and believe that if you cannot follow through and provide the service with communication do not launch a new app with empty promises. I have been put out of pocket and ended up going into the store to purchase my items, what is the use CHECKERS!!! Is it honestly your aim to take from the poor and make them fight to get their money back - JUST ABSOLUTELY APPALLING
