Its enough thats economically we all stuffed the Checkers still has treat you like you a ******** for your own money

This is the worst checkers store i havr ever come across, your treatment of customers is a disgrace to your brand and the management team is the worst. Maybe you should consider replacing you managers with the general staff who are your only saving grace and probably the only reason you still have customers. I went in on Friday to make some needed purchase, when i tried to pay with my husbands card it declined even though there was enougg money in the account for the payment. Nevertheless i s****ped around my account and the cash i had to pay for my goods and thankfully had enough. To my dispair when getting home my husband showed me his account statement that showed the transaction did go through. I returned to checkers (waste of petrol and time) and was told by the manager Wihan Seallie that the money should reflect back into my husband account the following day with no problem however should it not I was to return to the store and they would refund me. I told him that i cannot return to the store the Saturday but would do so the Sunday should the money not reflect in our account. The money did not reflect into our account which i expected since bad service and lies are a norm at this store and since this was noy the first time i had to complain at this store. My husband and i went in and haf to relay the full story again to another manager. I was also promised that i would be called the following day and gave my contact details, which did not happen, again expected. The manager who "helped" us Alre Gordon, had an attitude of us being a nuisance, gave me long stories of head office and not being able to make a decision without head office, i refused to accept her stories and then she requested a bank statement as if it was not enough that we showed it to them on our phones and the slip was not enough. We were treated like ********* and a full investigation needs to take place which is fine i guess. I walked out to get the statement and returned with the statement however checkers york street *****s gave us more stories of why we cant be refunded the money they stole out of our account. I am dissapionted and totally decided that i shall never purchase at this store ever. I know me boycotting this store wont make a difference to the service they render our their profit margin however it is my full intent to place this complaint on social media so that everyone is warned of the bad service and theifery happening at this store. They stole from my babies and blame it on head office and the bank and some fictitous account " somewhere in the air" acordding them. Sending this complaint to you is my attempt to make sure something gets done so that others dont get the same treatment.
