Items ordered are not in stock and substitute items are offered at exorbitant prices. After receipt of incomplete orders, a tip for the driver is requested again, after it had been declined during check-out.

After the second incomplete order on the same items, the call centre had been contacted, as app queries go unanswered,
Call centre agents are not informed and speak to you as if you are a 4-year old and cannot take the time to listen to what you are actually asking. Call centre agent kept on about the Rewards card not being linked to app – but is activated and linked to your ID and cell phone number. App has your information, especially your cell phone number. Kept on hammering on about the card not being linked and the items are indeed out of stock and substitutes had indeed been offered. Never answering the question as to why, when placing the order on the app after business hours items are in stock and upon delivery it is not.
Eventually managed to contact the local store’s manager and he explained the situation in a very professional and understanding manner: The app developers did not take into account that there are still physical shoppers and that item stock-levels instore are not taken into account for items listed on the app.
General conclusion: The app is a storefront window without any stock, just pretty pictures without any service delivery or after “sales” assistance, apart from “ read the screen” call centre agents. No hope of the system being updated or amended in the near future and it is "better" to shop instore than via the app.
