Item in high demand out of stock Sixty60 bike

I have been calling to every Checkers hyper store for the last 2 weeks requesting a Sixty60 ride on bike. I had been told that stock has not arrived. I called customer service, they advised that they in the process of manufacturing. While anothet lady advised that there are 600 units being distributed to stores daily!. I called Hillcrest this morning and the lady advised that they have stock, then I asked her to keep one for me i will collect in an hour and then she said to me they don't have stock.. As they only received 1. How would a store receive one item that is one high demand. Customer service advised to leave my details in stores, which stores don't want to do. How do you sell something that is so high demand and no stock for weeks in end. This is rather disappointing. Further to being disappointed when you call store to check availability of stock, Staff are rude to you like they are going to purchase this bike for you. Please can someone give me a date as to when a stores will receive this item in order for me to purchase.
