Intentionally selling defected goods to customers

I placed an order using the Checkers 3sixty App, in the order I included a rum and raisin ice cream. Upon delivery I noticed that the seal of the container was broken and upon opening the container noticed that the ice cream had dried out from being open as well as from being frozen and melted. It is worthy to note that given the condition of this ice cream that it was intentionally packed and sold to me with a broken seal and covered with ice and frost.

I would like to know what quality control measures you have in place as this is not the first time I receive stock that has expired or has broken seals or some kind of obvious damage and NO IT IS NOT THE DRIVERS FAULT, it is very clear that checkers intentionally sells defected products to customers with the hopes that they will not complain and then swindle them into paying another R35.00 to reorder. Disgusting!
