Insect inside queen cake

I purchased a pack of queen cakes on 08.11.2018 and upon eating one of these I found an insect inside the cake. I took it back to the store at gateway mall and the assistant offered a refund of which I refused as no one bothered to at least apologise but instead the guy (Rakesh) told me he does not work at the bakery. I do not know how harmful this insect is and what damage it would have done to my health and that of my family if any of us have eaten it
