In november last year i purchased a Turduken from braam fischer store that cost R250.00. I planned on having this over christmas but i had to go to Australia for an unforseen visit. I kept this turducken frozen and only cooked it last sunday. I was shattered to find ZERO duck in the turducken. If i wanted a turkey i would have bought a big turkey for less than what i paid for this turducken. I eat duck every 6 to 8 weeks and i know what duck tastes like. There was NO duck at all. I have just recently changed from pick n pay to checkers but this leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth and i am NOT prepared to accept this at R250.00. I have been getting turduken for many years from a butchery in the south and it is not new to me. Unless i am satifactorily compensated by checkers who may not be aware of this problem i will STOP supporting checkers and will inform my friends and family of what happened.
