Inflated Prices of ****** and garlic

Good evening

I am really upset with the price of ****** and garlic that most retailers are charging. Fully knowing that this is an essential product to many South Africans. How can there be such a massive price hike where ****** was less then R50 kg to now R199 kg. I feel there should be proper investigations done especially for the fact that we are in the middle of the worst pandemic of our century. Please get back to me with constructive feedback.
